Launched in 2022, a new multi-city MaaS platform called Breeze and powered by Trafi connects the UK’s Solent Region in one app.
Solent Transport and Trafi are launching the UK’s first regional MaaS solution. The platform connects public transport and shared mobility services across the Solent Region on England’s south coast, which is home to 1.3 million people.
The app features routing for buses, trains, ferries, and bike and e-scooter sharing. Carsharing services and deeper ticket integration are coming soon.
The country’s first-ever regional MaaS solution is part of a €34m government-funded Future Transport Zone (FTZ).
Go by bus, bike, scooter or…boat? Users of the Solent Mobility App will find several ferry services included in routing options.
Collaboration with The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) will deliver actionable insights on MaaS behavior and adoption.
Smart routing helps users arrive in no time with the best combinations of mobility modes
No more guessing when the bus will show up. Travelers can see exactly where their bus is on a map and know when it will arrive
Sustainability ratings are shown for each route and travel mode to encourage users to travel greener
